Jubi Tea & Sweets, an independently owned bubble tea shop, is located in the heart of downtown Bethel, CT on 129 Greenwood Avenue.  We are always on the lookout for fantastic individuals to join our team.

Experience / Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista, bartender, or in food or retail is helpful, but not required.

• Must be 16 years of age or older.

• Nights & Weekends are a must.

Responsibilities:

Duties for Team Member --

PREP / OPENING / CLOSING

• Brew fresh tea for tea buckets

• Cook tapioca pearls (boba)

• Prep toppings and garnishes as needed

• Prep bubble waffle mix as needed

• Get the front of the house prep area ready to open store

• Comply to the highest food grade safety standards

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times and carry out cleaning duties as required

• Help make Jubi Tea & Sweets a fun exciting environment that brings a little joy to our customers one drink at a time

• Greet customers as they enter

• Take customer orders using POS system

• Making drinks (milk tea/ fruit tea/ slushes/ specials, etc.)

• Be punctual and support your team mates

Shifts and Compensation:

We offer flexible hours, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Expected hours: 8–25 hrs per week / 3 hours to 6 hours shifts day -- hours will be scheduled accordingly to how busy the shop will be

• Pay: From $16.35 per hour + tips / Compensation will be based on experience.
